- A Game of Thrones by George R. R. Martin. For some time, I thought that reading fiction didn’t teach me anything new, so I stopped reading it. Lately, I’ve discovered that you learn just as much as non-fiction books, but just in an different way. We have evolved to extract information out of stories, and this is a great one.
